FESTIVAL OF RELIGIOUS SONG - COQUIMBO

05 AND 06 NOVEMBER 2010

Dear brothers

along with health, we are writing to tell the religious song festival Coquimbo which this year celebrates 26 years of publication since its inception back in the seventies, when the Holy Spirit touched the hearts and minds of our father remembered Antonio Mutsaers (Pastor of St. Louis at the time and Pastor Holy Family Parish to Feb.2009) and blew the idea of \u200b\u200bcreating an instance in which every Christian who loves the Lord can express love, praise and worship with his gift of music.

This year, we experienced strong events in our country and our church. The earthquake in the South and the terrible attacks suffered by the church for the trials that have been involved, has not led to take this scenario to rebuild from within the hope for all our brothers. "Rebuilding with Christ" is the motto of this year, we hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, inspire many brothers to create a song of hope for many in need.

Bases
to Participate:

1. Place and Date:
musical and religious event is held in Holy Family Parish , located in the street The Fresh 481, Sindempart, Coquimbo, on 05 and November 6, 2010.

2. Gender:
free musical expression (International or folk).

3. Participants:
can participate in this festival, all individuals and / or group representing:
- adult communities, youth movements and departments of the sectors, areas and Diocese.
- Colleges, Universities and Institutions linked to the work of the church.
- In general any person or group of persons concerned to take Spirit and Christian Vocation.
- Open to the entire Christian community in the Archdiocese.

4. Requirements:
a) The participants Songs must be original lyrics and music and not having participated in other festivals or competitions competitive.
b) The letter should draw on religious language, for this festival in competition issues should deliver a message according to the motto

5. Lyrics sent:
The shipment should be made in a sealed envelope with the content below:
- Recording the song on CD, with instrumental accompaniment in harmony with the theme presented.

- The lyrics of the song, clearly indicating its title, which must be submitted on letter size paper.

The audio will be sent in MP3 format.
- Clearly indicate the name of the author (s) and performer (s). Number of members should not be solo. Provide contact telephone or mobile and email.
- Indicate the name of the institution, pastoral group, school, or one that represents the song sent.
- All material must be mailed or delivered to the Parish office located at 481 Calle Los Lilies, Sindempart, Coquimbo, in the following hours between 11:00 and 13:00 and between 16:00 and 21:00 hours.

6. Period:
reception songs ends on Wednesday October 20 at 20:00.
The selected songs will be released on Friday, October 27 in Parish Secretariat and the various local media and / or e-mail. Be published in the blog of the parish.

7. Awards:
This time will be rewarded with a picture of the Sagrada Familia and Diploma;

8. Pre-Selection: Musical
A committee will consider:
- Letter and content of the songs.

9. Several rules:
a) Parish Holy Family Coquimbo reserves the right to dispose of all items shipped, for broadcast, recording and purposes it deems fit.
b) Interpreters may be: soloists, duets, trios or quartets, generally free, limited by the total number of participants including musicians, may not exceed 12 people. It will allow the use of soundtracks to accompany the participant.
